About One Safe Tasmania

Free safety support for Tasmanian business

Funded by the WorkCover Board Tasmania. Free to access.

Why we exist

Built for businesses like yours.

Small and medium businesses are the backbone of the Tasmanian economy, but they often face workplace health and safety challenges without the dedicated resources that larger organisations take for granted. One Safe Tasmania was created to change that. With funding support from the WorkCover Board Tasmania, we provide free, independent WHS support so that every Tasmanian business, regardless of size or budget, can build a safe and healthy workplace.

How we work

We meet businesses where they are.

Whether you need a quick answer to a safety question, help building a management system from scratch, or support to develop safety leadership across your organisation, we tailor our approach to your needs, your industry, and your pace. All of our guidance aligns with AS/NZS ISO 45001 and AS/NZS ISO 45003 standards, so you can be confident that what you build is best practice from day one.

What you can access

Three services, one goal: getting safety sorted.

Our free support service is available Monday to Friday and can provide up to five hours of dedicated coaching support per year. We also offer online courses and in-person workshops across Tasmania, and the Tasmanian Safety Leaders Program, an eight-week masterclass for business owners and safety officers ready to build genuine safety leadership capability.
